Special Privacy for High Profile Patients
WellStep goes “above and beyond” to protect the confidentiality of all patients and adheres strictly to all HIPAA privacy practices. Names of patients under treatment are kept private and secure by our staff.
If you are a high profile individual such as a business executive, member of the clergy, or professional athlete you may wish to minimize (but not guarantee) the possibility of your being recognized by outside individuals during your treatment. Our Executive Solutions program offers:
- Special private entrance and waiting area.
- After-hours and weekend appointments.
- In-house dispensing of certain medications to minimize pharmacy interaction.
Upon your formal written request, we can also privately and directly communicate information on your evaluation and treatment recommendations to your employer, attorney, manager, or other individuals specified by you.

Simply mention that you are inquiring about the Executive Solutions program and you will be given the phone number of a clinical staff member whom you may call at your convenience.
WellStep has developed a special, expanded drug testing panel to include drugs commonly abused in the teen and college-age population.
Our drug test panel includes amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine metabolite, marijuana metabolite, methadone, opiates, phencyclidine. In addition, our panel separately tests for oxycodone (Oxycontin, Percocet) and mdma (ecstasy).
All specimens are initially screened by enzyme immunoassay (EIA). Presumptive positives are confirmed by gas chromatograph/mass spectrometry (GCMS).
- Amphetamines (speed). Pharmaceutical Names (Dexedrine, Benzadrine). Detection Time is 1-2 days. A subcategory of Amphetamines checked is Methamphetamines (speed, ice, crystal, crank). Pharmaceutical Names (Desoxyn, Methedrine). Detection time is also 1-2 days.
- Barbiturates (downers, barbs, goof balls, reds, yellow jackets). Pharmaceutical Names ( Amobarbital (Amytal), Bubalbital (Fiorinal), Pentobarbital (Nembutal), Phenobarbital (Donnatal), Secobarbital (Seconal). Detection time is days for short acting formulations and 1-3 weeks for long acting compounds.
- Benzodiazepines (bennies). Pharmaceutical names: Diazepam (Valium), Oxazepam( Serax), Chlordiazepoxide (Librium), Alprazolam (Xanax), Chlorazepate (Tranxene), Temazepam (Restoril) Detection time for therapeutic doses is 3 days. Detection time for higher doses can be as long as 4- 6 weeks.
- Cocaine (coke, crack). Detection time is 2-4 days.
- Marijuana (dope, weed, hemp, hash, Colombian, sinemilla). Pharmaceutical name: Marinol. Detection time for single use is 2-7 days. Detection time for prolonged use is 1-2 months.
- Methadone (fizzies). Pharmaceutical names: Amidone, Dolophine. Detection time is 3 days.
- Opioids include morphine and or heroin (smack, tar) as well as prescription drugs of abuses such as codeine and hydrocodone. Pharmaceutical names of opioids include Vicodin, Lortab, Percocet, and Norco. Detection time is 2 days.
- Phencyclidine (pcp, angel dust). Detection time is 14 days (up to 30 days in chronic users).
- Oxycodone (blue, hillbilly heroin, kicker, oc’s, oxy, oxycotton). Pharmaceutical names: Oxycontin, Percocet. Detection time is 1-2 days.
- MDMA (ecstasy, XTC, lover’s speed). Detection time is 1- 2 days.
